A story about a sealed claypot, a local legend of a place where white squirrels once lived in abundance, songs sung around a fire each night, the same fire pit becoming the site of a makeshift kiln assembled with found materials – our hands kept busy kneading, moulding clay, as our ears internalised the day and night sounds of the land.
